A beautiful Westley Richards London .50 Percussion Pistol made between 1840-1896. The pistol features a single round muzzle-load capacity and a 5" octagon barrel, and checkered wood stock. The trigger guard, lock plate, hammer and barrel are nicely decorated with engraved designs and there is a removable brass and wood ramrod under the barrel. The rear tang has a metal inlaid plate for engraving, and a fixed brass post sight in the front. In excellent Antique condition with very light scratches, wood dings and finish wear to be expected on a pistol of this age. The hammer still holds at cock, with strong action.
