This Ancient Greek Ceramic Oil Lamp dates to the Hellenistic period, c. 3rd–1st century BC. A lovely and well-preserved example, it features a glossy black slip, large central fill-hole, single lug handle at the side, and a flattened, raised base. Intact aside from minor chipping and abrasions. Measures 2.5" in length. Ex New York City private collection.
